Jammu, Oct 7 : Five Bajrang Dal activists including their state president Rakesh Kumar were lifted by the police following their attempt to hold the protest in support of majority community in Rajouri district.
As per sources, about hundred Bajran Dal activists started gathering at Indira Chowk for staging protest in support of minority community but the same was foiled by police. They also lifted five Bajrangis and took them to the District Police Line,Jammu where after legal formalities they were set free.
Pertinently, Rajouri is tense for the last couple of days after a clash took place between two communities. |
