| PDP protests in Bhaderwah, demands MLA’s, MLC's resignation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, Oct 7: People's Democratic Party (PDP) unit Bhaderwah constituency led a protest march here in the town demanding the suitable compensation for those people whose structures got damaged in May 1 earth quake of this year in Bhaderwah and alleged that state government has completely ignored victims of earth quake and demanded resignation of Congress MLA and MLC representing the constituency. Early in the morning carrying banners, party flags and placards, hundreds of PDP workers marched from Party office towards Takyia Chowk to register protest against long pending demands and blocked the main road there for two hours and shouted anti-government slogans. Thakur Yudvir Singh Zonal President, Shokat Malik city President, Dimple Kotwal Chief Organizer , Sartaj Ahmed Sarpanch , Abdul Hafeez Wani , Abdul Hamid Ganai and Ramzan Batt who were leading the protest, alleged that local MLA and MLC of Bhaderwah constituency has totally ignored the Bhaderwah constituency in all developmental matters and alleged that they are responsible for all miseries of the people as six months had gone still no compensation has been given to earth quake affected people as MLA and MLC misguided people of the Bhaderwah by making hollow promises and have given benefits only to their party workers and relatives , they claimed |
