Over 15000 pilgrims visit Pingla Mata shrine cave

UDHAMPUR, Oct 7 : Over 15000 pilgrims from within and outside the state visited the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Pingla Mata situated on a scenic hilltop at village Pinger about 20 Km from Ramnagar Tehsil of district Udhampur for seeking the blessings of Pingla Mata.
Jyoti of Mata, which was lit at Ramnagar on the Ist Navratra ( October 5, 2013) morning at Pingla Devi Chabutra and took to the cave shrine chanting bhajan and kirtan by hundreds of devotees.
Elaborate arrangements like drinking water, power security, first aid etc have been made by tehsil administration.
Various social organizations have put up free food stalls enroute as well as at the shrine.
