| PHE deptt blamed for misappropriation of funds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, Oct 7: The villagers of panchayat halqa Batogra block Thathri have blamed the PHE sub division Thathri for misappropriations of funds for the said panchayat.
One of the villager said that in 2012 new water supply was sanctioned for this panchayat and was completed also but after two years the supply is service-less due to which the villagers are suffering without proper supply of water.
This inconvenience is only due to the PHE Deptt which is not willing to do its job transparently.
Naib sarpanch halqa panchayat Batogra Shokat Ali said that severe resentment is prevailing among the public as the pipe line has been destructed and some where and in other parts the rusted pipes are totally unserviceable.
Shoket further stressed upon the state govt to hold an inquiry through an impartial team so that such frauds are brought in limelight. |
