JAMMU, Oct 11: Stadium XI shall take on Army Public School (APS) Akhnoor in the final of the Jammu District Senior Women's Hockey Championship, organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakhu Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Stadium XI blanked APS Miran Sahib 4-0. Pinki Devi (10th), Gargi (15th), Jagjeet Kour (35th and 46th) were the scorers.
In the second semifinal, played today, APS Akhnoor trounced Government College for Women (GCW) Parade by three goals to nil. Archana (12th), Priya (18th) and Archna (25th) were the scorers.
In today's semifinals, Association vice-president, Jaswant Singh and general secretary, Romal Singh were special guests. Semifinals were officiated by Jagjeet Singh, Jagjeet Singh Reen, MS Reen and GS Bakshi. |
