| Another school boy found dead in Rajouri | | | early times report
Rajouri, Oct 11: Within four days of murder of a student of 2nd class in the vicinity of highly protected, area where offices and residences of DIG, SSP and DDC are situated, a body of 8thclass student was found hanging near village Kotdhara under the jurisdiction of Rajouri police today.
Preliminary investigation by the police and after views of the doctors at district hospital the boy, identified as Omar Rehaman son of Abdul Rehman student of 8thclass In Azam Public school Palma, was first reportedly strangulated by the killer and later hanged with a tree in a forest.
Family sources including Manzoor Hussain Shah, sarpanch said that Omar had gone to visit her Aunt at village Dana on Thursday about 6 kilometers from Palma. At about 7 am today he left for his house but when he didn't reach till 112 pm his mother Arida Begam tried to contact him on his mobile phone but it was switched off.
After confirmation from Aunt about her only son Omar, a brother of five sisters, mother decided to visit village Dana and as she reached at Tatapani some people were found talking about the body of a boy hanging from a tree in a nearby forest.
It was a heart rending scene when the mother saw the body of her only son hanging from a tree. People informed the police at about 1pm and later police brought the body to hospital for legal formalities and postmortem.
Mubassar latifi, district SP, Sanjay Sharam ,SP and Ayaz Sheikh , DSP operation also reached at hospital and pacified the people who were raising slogans against the police for its failure to control the increasing crime in and around Rajouri city.
On Tuesday a seven years old Shalik Mansoor student of 2nd class of ary school was brutally killed by a young couple reportedly to extort money from his father.The case is still under investigation and police has not yet briefed the media about breakthrough in the murder.
After protest by the people and after discussion with the family member, political and religious leaders Mubassar latifi, district SP assured them that within 7 days the police will solve the murder mystery and if anybody found involved in suspicious death of Omar, he would be behind the bars.
He also said that the killer of 2nd class students Shalik have been identified and on Saturday he will brief the media about their identity.
After legal formalities and postmortem police handed over the body to the family members for last rites and police has started inquest proceeding in this possible murder for which a SIT has been constituted
Some reliable sources said that the involvement of some close relatives of the deceased Omar Rehaman can't be denied. while his uncle Nawaz Hussain , a constable in Territorial Army (TA) and posted at Uri and is on leave said that the family had no dispute with any of the relative.
