| After minors killings, teen alleges 'gang rape' by three including MLA's escortee | | | Et Report
Rajouri, Oct 12 : After the blind murders of two minors in the just four days span of early this month in localities falling under jurisdiction of Police Station Rajouri, a 9th class student has leveled allegations of gang rape against a police constable from police escort of local MLA, a CRPF personnel and a 12th class student from her school.
"The girl in her statement at District Hospital Rajouri today has alleged that she was first abducted by the policeman and CRPF personnel from her house on gun point on October,10 and later taken to nearby village where they committed rape upon her in the room owned by one Aganwari 'worker,' sources said. They added that Darhal Police today brought the girl to district hospital at Rajouri for medical check-up and the girl and his father were present in the hospital at the time of filing this report. DySP M Basu Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Darhal when contacted told that following complaint of the victim police started investigations and acting swiftly police have apprehended two namely Samasheer Hussain , student and Kabir Hussain CRPF personnel. "Third accused is on official duty with the escort of a VIP (local MLA) police has approached the senior police officers for his custody," said M Basu, DySP. He further added that the police is waiting for the medical report of the girl, which is expected after 8pm, to register a case against the accused under relevant sections. As per police the accused have been identified as Basharat Hussain s/o Gulzar Ahmed a police constable, Kabir Hussain s/o Muneer Hussain a CRPF personnel and Shamsheer Hussain student. The father of the girl (name withheld) said that we (he and his wife) both are under treatment, his wife was admitted in a private hospital at Jammu while he presently is under treatment for fractured leg and arm at District Hospital Rajouri. "My three children were in the house at village Panihad including victim and on October 10, the three accused barged into my house and took my daughter along with them when she was alone at home, he lamented.
They first took her to the house of Meeran Baksh , panch of village Gurha Sarkari, he said while victim pin pointed that she was gang raped by the three in the nearby room of Aganwari worker and Bhabi of panch.
"I was threatened by the abductors not to raise alarm otherwise they will kill my father at Rajouri and my brother also" said girl. She also said that they also planned to take her to Jammu and then to Punjab to sell to some persons there. "To execute their plan they took me on gun point to Mandargala via dense forest and from Mander gala, she said further adding, "they forced her to board in a bus bounded for Kotranka with a wish to take me to Jammu via Budhal, Reasi district.' .Meanwhile finding her sister missing the brother of victim approached the police at Police Post Piri and a alert was sounded from Police Station Darhal. After the Kotranka Police information the girl was brought by the police and family members and formal application was moved against the accused at Police Station Darhal. Meanwhile Ch Zulfikar, MLA , Darhal said, "I am not aware about Basharat as security department is responsible for the deployment of police escorts to the VIPs. "He ( Basharat) could be a member of my police escort and not my PSO as alleged by few persons," he added. Meatime police has registered a case under sections 363/109 RPC (kidnapping and illegal confinement ) and if medical reports confirm 'rape' section 376 RPC (rape) will also be incorporated in the FIR against the accused. |
