Avinash Azad Jammu, Oct 11: Responding to case filled by Dr Raj Kumar Choudhary, seeking investigation over the mysterious death of three children at self styled god man Asaram's Bhagwati Nagar situated Ashram, Sub-Judge, Special Mobile Magistrate today directed SHO, Nawabad to proceed under section 156 (3) CrPC. Applicant, Dr Raj Kumar Choudhary, State President All India Kissan Sewa Sangh, referring to statement made by Asaram Bapu's close associate Acharya Bhola Nand during interview with a TV Channel on October 7, requested before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, seeking proceeding of case under section 156 (3) CrPC for investigation of the case regarding death of three children in the Ashram of Asaram Bapu at Bhagwati Nagar. "During interview, Acharya Bhola Nand disclosed that during his tenure in the Bhagwati Nagar Ashram three children had died under mysterious circumstances and there after they were buried in the Ashram", Dr Choudhary wrote to CJM quoting Acharya's statement made in the interview. He further wrote, "The Acharya had also disclosed that he could locate the place of burial in the Ashram. He (Acharya) should be called to Jammu under police protection and security to unfold the truth before attempts are made to temper with the evidence." He further wrote that allegations against Asaram Bapu regarding the mysterious death of three children and their burial in the Ashram's Bhagwati Nagar Ashram were serious in nature and should be investigated. "Therefore, it is respectfully prayed that SHO Police Station Nowabad be directed to carry out thorough investigation into the death of three children", Dr Choudhary wrote to CJM. Considering nature of case, the Sub-Judge directed concerned SHO to proceed under above mentioned section. |
