Dandiya function organized to mark Dussehra festival

Jammu, Oct 11: Rich Harvest School today organized Dandiya function and celebrated Dussehra festival with great fervor and gaiety.
According to press release, the day started with the prayer of Maa Durga for peace and prosperity of the world. On the occasion Ruchi Charak (Trustee RHS), Dr. Shivani Singh (Principal RHS) and other staff members along with students were present.
Rich Harvest School had organized a special event to educate students about the significance of this popular festival. Dandiya being an integral part of navratra celebration, special program was planned at school. Students wore colourful traditional Indian wear- ghagra choli and dhoti kurta for dandiya function. "Festivals are integral part of Indian culture and we at Rich Harvest want to teach the students the importance of our traditions and the value of festival to foster bonds of brotherhood, friendship and solidarity" said Dr. Shivani Singh (Principal RHS).
