REASI, Oct 11: To make drivers aware of their health and fitness, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO), Reasi organized a medical-cum-health awareness camp at Pouni.
During the camp, doctors conducted on the spot medical examination of more than 50 drivers, who were also provided with literature on good health.
The eyesight testing, blood grouping, blood testing and checking of blood pressure of the drivers was the main features of the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta appealed the drivers to remain health cautious and ensure routine medical examination for healthy life.
He asked the drivers to pay extra attention towards their health as fitness is detrimental to safe driving.
Gupta also appealed the drivers to follow various rules and regulations laid down under Motor Vehicle Act.
SHO, Pouni Sanjeev Gupta and Manager, J&K Bank Sham Sunder Abrol besides several prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion. |
