JAMMU, Oct 11: In order to welcome the new Director School Education, Jammu Tushar Kanti Sharma, a delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Plus 2 Lecturer Forum (AJKPLF) led by its state president NS Jamwal and discussed their problems.
During meeting, the members discussed the present educational scenario with the new Director. The main focus was to improve the academic standard in schools to achieve the excellence. Jamwal urged the Director to fill up the vacant posts of lecturers/ Masters/Teachers so that the desired goals can be achieved. Jamwal assured the DSE for their full cooperation in achieving the academic excellence. DSE gave a patient hearing and assured the members of the cadre that he will try hard to come up to the expectations of the general public and teaching community.
He urged the authorities to repatriate the Principals and lecturers immediately who are working in Ladakh Division for the last three years. He also demanded that about 150 posts of Principals which are lying vacant should be filled at the earliest, so that the school should function properly. Members resented over the delay in issuing the list of Sr. Lecturers which is ready to publish for objections if any.
