Jammu, Oct 19: A complaint of children swap by a private nursing home was lodged with the Sarwal police here today, police sources said.
As per sources, the complaint was lodged by one Sandeep Sharma son of Girdari Lal of Lakshmi Nagar,Chinore, alleging that the nursing home running in the name and style of Kalindi Nursing Home at Subash Nagar swapped children and gave him a female child earlier informing him that he had been blessed with male child.
Quoting the complainant, police sources added, " further it is alleged that her wife deliver a baby and accordingly the message was conveyed to him by nursing home administration that she had delivered a male baby but to his surprise after the gap of two hours, he was handed over a female child.
"Taking cognizance of his complaint, the police is looking into the matter and has started searching the CCTV cameras installed in the nursing home before taking any legal action against the nursing home, police sources said. |
