| Kamaal regrets decision of his father, Mandoo | | Congress to file FIR against Kamaal for anti-army statements | | Javaid Naikoo
Srinagar, Oct 19: National conference senior leader, Dr Mustafa Kamaal who is repeatedly attacking the regional political parties is likely to face a tough time now as the state congress has decided to lodge a first information report (FIR) against him for his anti Army statements.
After accusing People's Democratic Party (PDP) in last week for using different units of Army as a tool to win the 2002 Assembly elections, senior National Conference leader and additional general secretary of the party, Dr Mustafa Kamaal today while talking to a local news agency alleged that Army helped congress in winning assembly seats during the elections of 2002 and 2008 in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that congress is bound to ditch N.C all the time in the state.
Dr Kamaal also accused Congress of killing thousands of NC workers across valley including some of its senior members as well and added that at a time when congress failed with the gun to dislodge N.C in they started using different tactics as in the same line up when N.C gained 2/3rd majority in 1996 assembly elections congress felt that they have failed on all fronts and rsorted to cheap methods. Mustafa said that Congress is power hungry and while Commenting on the coalition of National Conference and Congress, Kamaal said that coalition is near its end and it has to go and added that most of the N.C members who had a perception that congress cannot ditch us are fed up of this party and they have learnt a lesson as well.
Kamaal has also said that people like Aslam Goni mean little to the National Conference, while terming Aslam Goni a political turn coat, Kamaal said that he can always change affiliations.
However, taking a serious note of the verbal war of Mustafa Kamaal, office bearers of State Congress today said that they cannot anymore bear the frivolous statements of Mustafa Kamaal against the Army and added that party has finally decided to act formally against him and teach him a lesson of morality.
Talking to Early Times Sultan Mandoo said that Kamaal who is fearlessly moving across the streets of the state today and is accusing Army time and again is only because of the hard work of Army who guarded people like Kamaal when militancy was its peak in Kashmir.
He also said that, Mustafa Kamaal must consult a Psychiatrist as he actually regrets the decision of his father Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah who has invited Army to Kashmir. |
