| Kar asks Omar to shun anti-separatist' policy | | `Kamaal not a seasoned politician' | | Early Times Report
Sopore, Oct 19: Former State Congress President, Ghulam Rasool Kar while criticizing Mustaf Kamaal, suggested Omar Abdullah to shun 'anti-separatist' policy and release them unconditionally. Kar told a local news agency that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should know that detention and curbing the movement of separatist leaders would lead the State nowhere and finally, "we have to take all of them on board," Kar said. "You are admitting your defeat when you resort to force and fail to engage them (separatists) politically. The current policy of Coalition Government would lead us nowhere. How long you can taste a ripe fruit by restricting the movement of people and separatist leaders," Kar said. While replying to a question, Kar said that Mustafa Kamaal is not a seasoned politician and he only gives vent to his emotions by leveling baseless allegations on Congress party. "Congress party should not take Kamaal's allegations seriously. What Kamaal says does not hold weight as everybody in Congress as well as even in National Conference knows that he loves to hit right, left and centre anytime and he can target anyone," Kar said |
