| BVP organises song competition | | | Early Times Report kathua, Oct 19: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Kathua Branch, organised an Interschool National Group Song Competition in the premises of Nav Adarsh Senior Secondary School today. District Development Commissioner Jitender Kumar Singh was the chief guest where as Chief Education Planning Officer Nariender Singh Sambyal presided over the function. The competition started with the traditional lightning of the candle by chief guest followed the group songs presented by seven schools of the District. The participating teams presented the best of their creating a wonderful aura of music and joy. In between the chief patron of BVP Ram Murti Sharma highlighted the motto of Parishad and the different activities performed in different fields. During the declaration of results National Academy Parliwand scored first position, Minerva High school stood second and Nav Adarsh Senior Secondary School got third position. The chief guest gave away the prizes to the winners as well consolation prizes to other participants. On this occasion BVP president of Jammu Arun Sharma and secretary Vijay Kumar, Santosh Gupta, P.C Gupta, principals and staff members of different schools were present. |
