| CDO organizes awareness program | | | Early Times Report
kargil, Oct 19: Civil Defence Organization (CDO) Kargil organized an awareness programme at Government Community Health Center (CHC) Sankoo Kargil.
The programme was coordinated by Aga Rizvi (CD Volunteer/ Dy. Mass Media officer) under the supervision of Chief Warden Civil Defence/Medical Officer Dr. Anayat Mir.
More than 50 ASHA workers of Block Sankoo, CD volunteers, paramedics and Block Medical Officer participated in the programme. BMO Sankoo Dr. Afzal presided over as the chief guest in the programme. On this occasion, Dr. Anayat Mir gave a presentation on introduction of Civil Defence organization and role of CD volunteers during disaster mitigation. They were also imparted training on First Aid and sensitized about the menace of drug abuse in youth. At the end a video on health hazards of tobacco abuse was also shown. |
