| HPS takes part in 'Athletic Meet' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 19: The students of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana participated in the Divisional Level Inter-District (Girls) Athletic Meet (2013-14). This meet was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (J&K) and was held at University of Jammu Ground.
About 184 students from various schools of all the Districts of Jammu Province participated in this Competition in which two students of HPS participated in under 14yrs age group (Girls). Yasmeen Akhtar of class sixth clinched Gold Medal in 100 mtr sprint.
On this occasion Principal of the school said that the school management had left no stone unturned to promote Physical Education in school and in this regard sports infrastructure is being upgraded in the school for providing platform to the students to take part in different sports activities at District, State & National Levels. |
