| Passport mela draws enthusiastic response | | | early times report Jammu, Oct 19: It gives immense pleasure to place on record that an overwhelming response was shown during the Passport Adalat in the office premises of the Passport Office, Jammu, said Rajinder Gupta Regional Passport Officer Jammu in a press release. Befittingly, the main aim of holding such a Adalat was to clear the old pending files (for the year 2011 and 2012) whose Police Verification Reports (PVR) have been delayed and received recently. The Passport of such applicants shall get delivered within next 72 hours. It is pertinent to mention that during the Adalat the participants expressed immense appreciation to the concept of holding the Adalat . During this occasion, amongst all others, elders were seen enthusiastic, because much awaited quest for the Passport was going to be fulfilled and they showered wholehearted blessings for the goodwill gesture. During the Mela, a mammoth gathering of the Passport aspirants rushed in, whereby all the eligible applicants were granted Passport. It may be added that the occasion was a golden chance for the applicants whose Passports files for the year 2011 shall stand henceforth closed. |
