JAMMU, Oct 19: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Kiran Wattal visited Mother Teresa Charity Home at Talli Morh here today.
During the visit Commissioner inspected the park inside the Home and directed the Joint Commissioner (W), JMC to take all measures for up-gradation of the park. The Commissioner, JMC appreciated the missionary work of the trust especially for helping the poor orphan and handicapped children.
Later Commissioner, JMC visited Subash Nagar area and took cognizance of insanitary condition in the area and directed the Health Officer to redress the issues immediately.
During the visit Commissioner also visited the Shakti Nagar area near Pawan Ice Cream and directed the officials of UEED, to desilt the nallah and re-construct it in proper way. |
