Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 8 : Director Agriculture Jammu Ajay Khajuria stressed upon its field functionaries to work with greater zeal and missionary approach to protect and promote farmer's interests. He was speaking at a function to felicitate the employees of the department for rendering commendable services during implementation of various programmes and recently concluded Jhiri Mela. He lauded the role of the field staff of Jammu District and Marh Sub-Division in particular. He further added that the private enterprises should also share the social responsibility to generate awareness among the farmers and providing facilitating services. He congratulated Dr S. S. Jamwal for being appointed as Director Law Enforcement and also welcomed the A.K. Malhotra the newly adjusted Joint Director of Agriculture Extension Jammu. Those who were honored include Sh Rajeev Bakshi, Field-Assistant-cum-Storekeeper, Sham lal, RCI, and Sh Subash Chander, GCO in the SDAO, Office Marh, Jammu. Chief Agriculture Jammu announced that the first prize of Rs 10000/- received by the department has been donated for the development of the Baba Jitto Devsthan Agriculture Complex, Talab Tillo. District Agriculture, Jammu Vinod Ganjoo presented the vote of thanks.
