| Ishar's statement on NSUI irrational, says Bakshi | | | Jammu, Jan 18: Alleging Vice-Chancellor's statement on National Students Union of India (NSUI), Jammu University (JU) unit as irrational, Nitin Bakshi, President of the JU unit today said that on the one hand, VC MS Ishar is contradicting the claims of the NSUI on the university road, whereas on the other hand, he is issuing statements in public that the payments of the contractors have been stopped. He said the statement of the VC regarding the university's halt on the payments of the contractors is contradicting its own statement against the NSUI in which it has said that there was no compromise with the construction of Intra-University road and NSUI is giving useless hype. Bakshi questioned, "If it is the truth, Why VC has stopped the payments of the contractors"?
Bakshi appealed Governor and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene into the matter to punish the guilty.
