| JKACPM to hold anti-corruption rally on January, 19 | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Jan 18 : All J&K Anti-Corruption People Movement (JKACPM) decides to organize a anti-corruption rally on January 19, Sunday. This rally is going to start from Lakhanpur to Shaheedi Chowk. According to a release, a meeting of JKACPM, Kathua Chapter held today under the leadership of Kamalkanta Devi, a retired Sr. Lecture. In the meeting several members spoke on the need of a movement against corruption. One of the speaker said that several political parties are speaking against corruption because election is going to come. After election they will for get this issue.These so called people representative have to understand one thing, which is corruption is not going to end in short period of time. This is a systemic problem and we have to work hard together to resolve this problem. That is why several big scams coming out from different parts of the country. Another speaker said that JKACPM have to go to the masses and organise them to built a strong movement, otherwise doing lip service is a futile exercise. We should encourage people to work hard otherwise our coming generations will ask us that what kind of corrupt India we had built. Adv. Susheel Kumar, Jea Lal Verma, Shiv Nandan, Om Prakash, Sanjeev Verma Mohan Lal, Roshan Choudhary, Adv. Nidhi Suman, Mahinder Chauhan and others were present in the meeting. |
