Jammu, Jan 18: Continuing their protest against corruption practices and transfer of a principal MAM PG College, students today staged a protest at MAM PG College.
According to press release, students of MAM PG College, gathered at college gate and raised slogans against Higher Education department.
Speaking on the occasion, students said that their only demand was that transfer of MAM PG College principal Romesh Chander was illegal.
Students further said on one hand there were so many principals who were enjoying prime postings despite vigilance enquiry whereas an honest principal Romesh Chander has been attached for no reason. Students said that the Ministry is sleeping over the serious issues like corruption, favouratism and adjusting criminals in colleges.
Students said that they only demand to transfer back to Romesh Chander MAM P.G. College and transfer Anita Sudan to Parade College and also transfer Nutan Rusotra who is also facing vigilance enquiry. Others who were present Paramveer Singh (Sonu), Sunny Parihar, Abhijot Singh, Nishant Gupta, Sandeep Thakur, Abhinav Chib, Ranjot Singh, Sanpreet, Shampy, Tony Rajput, Rohit Sharma, Vikas etc. |
