| Jammu, Jan 18 : Panun Kashmir has expressed serious concerns over electricity crisis imposed by the state government at Jagti refugee camp, Nagrota. According to press release, Sanjay Raina, coordinator Jagti unit of Panun Kashmir, while castigating the government he said," Kashmiri Pandits in Jagti camp are being subjected to extreme torture and intimidation by the present regime and administration. We are being forced to sign agreement for electricity supply without realising the economic condition of this internally displaced community. We were dumped from different refugee camps and subjected to severe inhuman conditions in the concentration camps ridden by scams in terms of construction of tenements. Asking what is the rationale of signing the agreement for electricity, Chand ji Pandita, Coordinator , Jagati unit of Panun Kashmir said, " By shifting the KP refugees from different camps to one concentration camp at Jagti, the economic status of the inmates has not changed nor has it has not led to any economic empowerment. It is a state sponsored genocide and continuation of the holocaust imposed on the community on 19th January 1990 by the Islamic Theo-fascists on the upholders of Indian Nation in Kashmir. We warn the collaborators and over ground supporters of the forces who are perpetuating this genocide on KP's in Jagti and elsewhere not to test our patience, and restore the electric supply. Sh Sanjay Raina appealed the community to observe January 19 as Black Day, while addressing the masses he said, "January 19 is the black chapter in the history of Independent Secular India when the right to life and limb of the KP community was violated by the Jehadi Forces propagating the separation of J&K from the Indian Nation. Kashmiri Pandits were made to pay the price for defending the northern frontier of India in Kashmir. The last 24 years of exile have proven that there is Humiliation for nationalists and Premium on separatism. The spate of atrocities and human rights violation inflicted on the community by the Islamic Theo fascists of Kashmir and their over ground supporters in administration proves beyond doubt that the only solution that can reverse the religious cleansing and holocaust of the community for ever lies in the creation of a separate HOMELAND with Union Territory Status. |
