Jammu, Jan 18: The students of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, brought laurels to the school by winning 9 medals in the 9th National Matsogi -Do Championship - 2013. This Championship was organised by Matsogi - Do Association of Delhi (MAD) at Rajeev Gandhi Stadium, Bhawana, Delhi.
About 490 players/officials participated in this championship and nine students of HPS participated in it.
In the Individual fights Navjyoti Verma (6th) and Meenu Khokhar (6th) won Gold Medals; Neha Jaral (7th) bagged Silver Medal while as Deepak Kumar (4th) and Yasmeen Akhtar (6th) got Bronze Medals.
In group fights (Girls U-14) Shefali Attri (4th), Navjyoti Verma (6th) and Neha Jaral (7th) won Silver medals.
In Group Tuls event Insha Malik (6th), Neha Jaral (7th), Navjyoti Verma (6th) and Shefali Attri (4th) won silver medals. The students who participated in this Championship were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak (Principal) along with Anku Charak (Vice Principal), Pankaj Mehra (Coach), Jagpreet Kour (Coach), Akashdeep Raina (Incharge) and others. |
