Azad Club lifts BJYM T20 Cricket trophy
Bagal bags man of the series, Sahil man of the match title

JAMMU, Jan 21: Chander Shekhar Azad Cricket Club clinched the Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) with slogan, 'Khelega Yuva Jeetega Bharat' at Parade Ground, here today.
In the final, Azad Club outplayed Domana Cricket Club by (DCC) by a convincing margin of 52 runs to emerge winner.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss and batting first, Chander Shekhar Azad Club set a target of 143 runs for the loss of nine wickets, which, in reply, Domana Club could not attain and the whole side bowled out for 91 runs in 16 overs.
Sahil Bhalwal remained top scorer with 52 runs while Jatin Wadhawan contributed 38 runs to the team's total. Vishal Singh clinched four wickets from Domana Club.
In reply, Domana Club could not reach the required total and bundled out for 91 runs in 16 overs.
Vishu was top scorer with 22 runs. From Chander Shekhar Club, Siddhant Bagal clinched three important wickets to restrict the opponent to a small total.
For his outstanding performance throughout the competition with 12 wickets in four games, Siddhant Bagal was adjudged man of the series while man of the match trophy went to Sahil Balwal
In the final and valedictory function, Superintendent of Police City North, Jugal Manhas was chief guest, who appreciated the efforts on part of the BJYM in providing the youth a platform to excel. Deputy Superintendent of Police, North, Kulveer Handa, SHO Pacca Danga, Mahesh Sharma, Sumeet Sharma, Aseem Gupta and state president of BJP Mahilla Morcha, Priya Sethi were special guests.
Also present were state incharge BJYM, Yudhvir Sethi, state president BJYM, Ravinder Raina, general secretary and programme incharge, Ajay Pargal, Karan Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Ashish Sareen, Ishant Gupta, Ajay Vaid and Vikas Choudhary.
