Actress Sameera Reddy is marrying today and her beau is Akshai Varde, a 31-year old entrepreneur who owns a custom motorcycle business.
The couple who has been dating for the past two-and-a-half years exchanged rings at Sameera's Bandra residence in December.
And though the actress had earlier announced that she will get hitched in April, Mirror has it that a quiet wedding is being planned for today.
A source close to the development revealed that the two will wed in a private ceremony, with only a handful of friends and relatives on the guest list.
Buzz is, the duo are trying their best to keep the details, including the venue, under wraps. "But it is definitely happening in Bandra today," says the insider.
While Sameera remained unavailable for comment, her mother, Nakshatra Reddy, confirmed the news but refused to divulge any details, cutting short the call, saying, "I am in a puja. I really can't talk at length now."
The actress has picked out her wedding ensemble and both the bride and the groom will be dressed by Neeta Lulla. A friend of Sameera revealed, "Sameera is over the moon, though Akshai stays virtually next door. Surprisingly, they didn't even know that they stayed so close. Bikes forged the connection."
The actress was riding a bike by Vardenchi (Akshai's company) for some time when she met the man behind the mean machine. Sparks flew and soon both the bike enthusiasts were zipping around the lanes of Bandra. |
