| Thakur Hari Singh holds public meeting | | | | Samba, Jan 21: Vice President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Thakur Hari Singh said that only Congress party can guarantee the unity and integrity of the state.Hari Singh was speaking in a well attended meeting of Congress workers at Vijaypur, today asked them to go to the people at the grass root level and spread the policies and programmes of the Congress party. He said that Congress is the only party which can ensure the equitable development of three regions, all districts and all parts of the state. He said that Congress will defeat the designs of communal and divisive forces in the forth coming elections in order to strengthen the secularism and communal harmony in different sections of society. He lashed out at the politics of opportunism and double standers by the BJP. He asked people to discard such forces who are trying to hoodwink them on emotional issues for the vote policies. Those who present on the occasion included Rashpal Singh, Onkar Singh, Dr. Butti Ram, Dhoona Singh, Suchet Singh, Davinder Singh and Joginder Singh. |
