Jammu, Jan 21: DuggakManch released two books entitled Panch Parpanch and Panj Bal Rang penned by Mohan Singh, a Sahitya Akademi awardee writer and president of Duggar Manch in a book relsing ceremony organized at K L Saigal Hall Jammu. Desh Bandhu Dogra Nuttan, a Sahitya akademi awardee writer, presided over the function and Dr Om Goswami, Sahitya Akademi awardee attended the occasion as chief guest while Narsingh Dev Jamwal shared the presidium as special guest. During the proceedings of the occasion, Dr Chanchal Bhasin and Dr Sunita Bhadwai presented their critic papers. Speakers analyzed the titles namely Panch Parpanch, a full-length play, revolves around on degradation of human values within social setup seems to be unique experiment in Dogri drama while Panj Bal Rang is a collection of five short plays for children projecting problems faced by children. Chief Guest Dr Om Goswami in his address, appreciated the role of Duggar Manch as well the contribution of Mohan Singh in the field of Dogri Literature, especially in the field of Drama. Desh Bandhu Dogra Nuttan and Narsingh Dev Jamwal also appreciated papers and titles presented on the occasion by both the scholars. Dr Sjlhrna Rani conducted the proceedings of the programme. Prominent among those, who attended the function included Ramesh Mehta, Dr KC Dubey, Shiv Dev Prof Archna Kesar. Gianeshwar, Dr Gian Singh, Smt Neeru Sharma, Dr Sarita Khajuria, Daya Ram Daya and others. |
