Two victims of road mishaps succumb

JAMMU, Jan 21: Two road accident victims undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) today succumbed to their injuries, police sources said.
Identifying the deceased, police sources said that one Satish s/o Janak Raj of Sarora Akalpur received injuries who was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Gho Manasha on January 19, today succumbed to his grievous injuries.
"Meanwhile, another victim namely as Vineet s/o Budh Bahadur of Sangra-mpur who was undergoing medical treatment after being injured in a road accident on January 17, breathed his last at GMC&H Jammu here today, police sources said.
They added that after legal formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members for last rites. The cases already stand registered in both the cases at concerned police stations and investigations are on, police sources added.
