| Chann Morian residents call on DDC Kathua, demand demarcation of land | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 21: A deputation of residents of the Village Chann Morian, Tehsil Hiranagar called on Deputy Commissioner Kathua and urged the demarcation of a land comprising Khasra. No. 54 (Pasture), situated at village Chann Morian, Tehsil Hiranagar which is under encroachment.
Deputation was led by prominent citizens Prem Nath Dogra, Shamsher Singh Sarpanch, Darshan Kumar, Panch, Kewal Kumar, Panch Omkar Nath and Ram Krishan apprised the DC Kathua that land is comprising Khasra No.54 situated at village Chhan Morian, Tehsil Hiranagar, District Kathua and the nature of this total 47 kanal 5 marlas land is pasture being used by all the inhabitants of the village for grazing their respective cattle. They said that some land grabbers and land mafia are constantly making their bad eyes on it to take in their possession permanently by grabbing it and most of portion of the land is already grabbed. In this context they urged the administration to protect the land from the illegal possession and take serious action against who are involved in making the illegal encroachment of this piece of land. In responding to the deputation after making a patient hearing, DC kathua assured them for justice and a strict action against the culprits and to proceed the legal action against the encroachment, he directed the concerned Tehsildar Hiranagar. |
