| Amritsar based jeweler held with unauthorized gold | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 21: Police today detained an Amritsar based jeweler alongwith unauthorized gold 448 grams of gold which he was carrying secretly to evade Income Tax during a checking in area falling under the jurisdiction of Pacca Danga Police Station.
"The accused identified namely as Narinder Singh son of Joginder Singh of Amritsar was held with gold for whih he failed to produce any document to substantiate his claims," police said.
"On specific information a naka was erected and intercepted Narinder, Police said and added that during his search and frisking around 448 grams of gold was recovered from his possession for which he had evaded due tax.
Later, Narinde was questioned while further investigation in the case is on, till last report came in. |
