Jugal asks Cong activists to work hard for party's victory | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Nov 2: With a view to mobilize party cadres ahead of forthcoming Assembly polls, The Congress held a workers' convention here today under the leadership of Member Legislative Council (MLC) and former minister Jugal Kishore Sharma. A large number of party workers along with scores of Panchs and Sarpanchs having affiliations with the Congress took part in the convention. They expressed full faith in programmes and policies of the Congress party and leadership abilities of Jugal Kishore whose efforts bore fruitful results for the overall development of Reasi Assembly constituency. Speaking on the occasion, MLC Jugal Kishore laid stress on the party workers and supporters to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the victory of Congress party in the upcoming Assembly polls. Senior Congress leader exuding confidence told the gathering that party would form next Government in the state on its own while Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the Chief Minister. Jugla Kishore, while highlighting the development works initiated by him during his tenure as MLA and a minister in the previous PDP-Congress coalition government, said that for him common man's hopes and aspirations remain a top priority and the works executed during 2002 to 2008 are evidence of his commitment towards people. Jugal Kishore also called upon the party activists to aware the voters on the importance of using right to franchise which only can throw open the doors of development. On the occasion, several prominent party workers also highlighted their grievances besides pointing out the failures of sitting BJP MLA, whose lackluster performance has pushed the path of development to a new low. They vowed to ensure victory of Jugal Kishore as MLA of Reasi for development of the area. |
