Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 2: Doling out a major surprise, Bhartiya Janta party while releasing the names of 32 candidates out of total 37 for Jammu province, only two sitting MLAs in Sukhnanadan Chowdhary from Marh and Sham Chaudhary from Suchetgarh have been repeated while 7 MLAs dumped to give chance to the new faces in the first list announced which contains the 9 constituencies out of 11 won by BJP in 2008.
The names for remaining two won constituencies of 2008 still are to be made public.
Ashok Khajuria, former president and sitting MLA from Jammu East is the biggest upset who did not find berth in the first list of tickets among the four MLAs who were left in BJP when other seven crossed voted and were disqualified, but later roped back home after Narender Modi became the Prime Minster.
While Sukhnanadan and Sham Chaudhary turned out to be lucky ones, the Nagrota seat has not been announced which fell vacant with Jugal Kishore Sharma becoming the MP in recent LS elections.
Meanwhile six out of 10 MLAs (Chaman Lal of Jammu West not included), no other is repeated.
