Poonch, Nov 2: A Non government organization namely "Social and Educational Association" distributed relief among Poonch flood affected victims of Jammu and Kashmir in which they give blankets and food packets to 900 families of the District. The relief material was distributed among these families only after proper survey of devastating conditions of this area and the prevailing poverty. The NGO officals said that, they are fully aware about the coming winter season and if proper arrangements not been made, their conditions will further deteriorated. In this regard, a camp was organised in the premises of Jamia Zia Ul Uloom High School Kamsar road, where these affected people were invited and then given their due share of relief.The authorities further said, we are aware of the whole situation and assured that they will further provide the necessary relief material just to mitigate the miseries of the troubled people.Prominently, Chairman NGO Ilyas Makda and Mehmood Kapadia beside Maulana Ghulam Qadir, Mohtamim Jamia Zia Ul Uloom, Waheed A Banday, Rashid AHMED were also present. |
