Bhaderwah, Nov 2: District Congress Committee President and Member of Legislative Council Naresh Kumar Gupta today started election campaign in his constituency.
According to press release, Gupta seeking support for Congress candidate Mohd Sharief Niaz and appealed people to vote for congress party, in which he said the congress party was the symbol of peace, unity, prosperity, mutual brotherhood and development of the state.
He further said that Congress was the only party which could ensure unity, integrity and keep united all communities must for strengthening the nation. Congress always voiced the concern of the common man of Bhaderwah in every forum and tried to fulfill their aspirations. "The country has progressed tremendously under the regime of Congress and several people friendly welfare programmes were launched which were well taken by the people," said Gupta. He cautioned the people against the mischievous design of parties like BJP, PDP, adding that these parties had hidden agenda of disintegrating the people in the name of religion, castes, regions which created distrust and unrest in the society. "Many schools were opened, upgraded to promote the education in this border constituency," said Gupta. Several Sarpanchs and prominent personalities of the constituency including, Pritam Kotwal , Mohd Saleem Wani , Dhrampal Dogra , Muthra Das , Sajid Wani , Mohd Ashraf Batt , Sant Ram Shaan , Shiv Kumar Kotwal and Abdul Hafeez Batt were also accompanied MLC. |
