DEO Kishtwar issues time table for filing nomination papers

Kishtwar, Nov 2: Keeping in view of final date for filing nomination papers, District Election Officer Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan today held a meeting with representatives of various political parties and sought details from them with regard to holding of rallies on the eve of filling of nomination papers so that time slot will be issued to them to prevent any collision, the final date for which has been set by Election Commission of India as 5th of November 2014.
After series of discussion DEO Kishtwar issued time slots to all the political parties and independent candidates for 3rdand 5th of November 2014.
He also informed the political representatives that only five persons including candidate along with three vehicles will be allowed to enter inside the room of Returning Officers, beside no movement of rally will be allowed within 100 meters from main gate of RO's office.
ADDC Kishtwar Avtar Singh Chib, AROs 51-Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik, 52-Inderwal Sudarshan Kumar Salaria, AROPhulail Singh, Coordinator to DEO Kishtwar Raiz Butt also attended the meeting.
As per the details available with "Early Times" Congress candidate from Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and Kishtwar Congress candidate Nek Ram Manhas will file their nomination tomorrow. Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad will accompanied both the candidates.
BSP leader Des Raj Baghat will also file his nomination papers tomorrow.
NC candidate Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and Chowdhary Salam Din from Inderwal, PDP candidate Kishtwar Firdous Ahmed Tak and Abdul Majid Butt from Inderwal, BJP candidate from Kishtwar Sunil Sharma, JDS canidate from Kishtwar Mohammad Amin Butt and others will file their nomination papers on 5th of November 2014.
Top rank politicians from center and state are expected to arrive at Kishtwar to boast the moral of party candidates and supporters.
Meanwhile keeping in view of visit of various VVIPs, security has been tighten in the District and all the entry and exit points leading to the District has been sealed.
The political rallies venues have also been scrutinized by the various security agencies.
