3 held with poppy straw 11/2/2014 11:48:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 2 : A joint operation of Special Operation Group and Nowabad police today arrested three persons along with a truck and recovered and around 17 boxes of bhukki from their possession. The arrested has been identified as Rajkumar Gurdeep Singh both residents of Vijaypur and Ramneek Singh alias Raju of RS Pura. Police said that on specific information a joint team headed by SP SOG Udhaybhaskar Billa and Inspector Karan Chalotra SHO Nowabad under the supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand raised a naka at Dogra Chowk and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02F-6121. Police further said that during search they found 17 boxes of apples half loaded with poppy straw. Police arrested the trio and seized the truck along with poppy straw.
