Jammu, Nov 2 : The enforcement team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) demolished the illegal shops constructed on state land at Maheshpura here in a drive that was launched today.
As per reports, based on the complaint that one Om Prakash had been constructing 10 shops illegally on state land, a demolition drive was conducted by JMC team. Though the JMC's enforcement wing faced some resistance, the team led by Satish Khajuria,Chief Khilafvarzi Officer, Ravinder Sharma, Assistant Enforcement Officer, and Inspectors namely Madan Lal,Anil Kashap and Abuk Singh demolished the entire illegal structure with the help of a bulldozer.
The enforcement team was dispatched by JMC Commissioner Kiran Wattal. Later, a warning was also served to the violator for legal action if he again resorted to the illegal practice. |
