PDP reviews its strategy to intensify campaign | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 2: Peoples Democratic Party is set to intensify its poll campaign in Jammu Division to increase its tally from two seats it had won in the previous elections. Soon after the announcement of Assembly elections the party reviewed its strategy to intensify campaign across the State. In this regard a workers meeting was organised by State General Secy, ST/ SC/OBC cell Vikas Bhatti at Geeta Mandir, Bakshi Nagar in which PDP candidate for Jammu West Daman Bhasin was the Chief Guest. Addressing the workers and party supporters in the meeting Daman Bhasin said that "We are focusing on Jammu. The seats from the region will be crucial to our attempt to form next government" adding that the party has learnt from 2002 and 2008 Assembly elections that it was not possible to form government without gaining seats from Jammu. Besides PDP candidate Daman Bhasin, other party leaders present and spoke on the occasion include Ashok Jogi, Vijay Anand and so on. |
