Power grid donates ambulance to hospital 11/2/2014 11:49:49 PM Jammu, Nov 2: POWERGRID Northern Region-II Executive Director S. K .Sharma today, handed over an ambulance to Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla(IGMC). According to press release, an impressive function was held at Shimla in which Dr. S.S.Kaushal, Principal Government IGMC, Shimla received the ambulance from POWERGRID in presence of senior doctors of IGMC and senior officers of POWERGRID. POWERGRID is donating 28 such ambulances to various Government Hospitals across the country under its CSR initiative with the objective that it will strengthen the Public health infrastructure, increase confidence of people in public healthcare services and enhanced utilization of public health infrastructure. Principal IGMC said that greatest service to the GOD is extending helping hand to ailing people and this act of POWERGRID shall go a long way in helping the hospital patients.
