JAMMU, Dec 23: To promote talent in kids artists of Jammu, Nirvana Academy and Dance Revolution Academyon Tuesday jointly organized kids dance and modelling programme "Children Winter Carnival 2014" at auditorium GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
More than 150 participants from different parts of Jammu took part in the programme and different categories of dance and modeling competition. On the occasion, Shashi Gupta renowned dance choreographer of the state, Deepak Sharma J&K 2008 and Priya Sharma classical dancer adjudged the talent programme.
Participants from Trikuta Deep High School, Banyan International School, Harman Dance Institute, X-unit dance Institute, JD Public School and Siras High School took part in the competition. Show was conceived, choreographed and directed by young duo of Sanjeev Mangotra and Anu Bhardwaj.
Speaking on occasion, Priya Dutta said that dance was a vital source of entertainment as well as platform to put all generation artists at one plat form. She also congratulated Sanjeev and Anu for providing platform to the budding artists of Jammu. Gurvinder Kour, Kashish Thakyal and Bhavana prominent choreographers of Jammu were also awarded on the occasion.
Who won the modeling completion were, Sheetal won the tittle super model kid 2014, Tanvi won Best hairstyle Award, Harshleen and Roylgeet got Best Walk Title, Harsimran won Miss Cute title, Harsheen got Best Costume Award, Sangeet won Photogenic Award, Richa got Best Smile Award, Vansh won Master Cute title and Suryanshi won Face of the year 2014 title.
Similarly, who won the group dance competition were Harman Dance Institute, PunjabiDance Group and Punjabi girls group 1st prize
Harman Dogri Dance group and Kashmiri group 2nd prize, Solo Dance
Ishwar, Hanish Namotra, Sayam Verma, Rahul Kumar, Kshitiji Mahajan, Harshit Luthura, Tushar Sharma won 1st prize in different age groups of Solo dance Shirsthi, Rajat Angural, Kushal Rokaya, Sharav Luthura, Krishna Mahajan, Sourav Chouhan, Arsha got 2nd prize in different age groups of Solo dance
Among those who presented on the occasion were Vikas Dogra, Vikul Gupta, Paramjeet Kour, Neeraj Sharma, Meenakshi Sharma and Nishant Vaid. |
