Shocked over defeat BJP activist allegedly commits suicide 12/24/2014 12:24:10 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 23: An activist of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today allegedly committed suicide after announcement of poll results of assembly elections 2014 in Gool Arnas assembly segment declaring Congress candidate Ajaz Ahmed Khan elected. "The deceased has been identified as Ashraf Mughal s/o Jamal Din Mughal of Moyla Gool, police sources said. They said that Police Ashraf was a BJP activist reportedly shocked over defeat of party candidate allegedly committed suicide immediately after announcement of election results of Gool Arnas constituency as the counting of recently concluded assembly polls were held across the state at district headquarters. "Congress candidate Ajaz Ahmed Khan secured 22966 votes while Kuldeep Raj Dubey of BJP managed to get only 16088 votes, they said.
