Frustrated separatists floating self-contradictory theories to confuse students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: Pushed to the wall after the government announced that exams will be held as per the schedule though with considerable relaxation, the separatists and their supporters are floating all kinds of theories which are quite self-contradictory in a last ditch effort to defer exams in the valley. The day BOSE announced that the students will be given 50 percent course relaxation narrative is being built in the media that it will compromise the quality of the studies and affect their aptitude for national level exams. At the height of the Mandal agitation the syllabus was curtailed and in many other instances such things have happened. "So what is so special about the Kashmir now that this can't happen here?,"said an official. A section of the media reported that some students are saying that they have completed only 30 percent of the syllabus while some are saying that they have completed just five- percent. The officials said that its a fact that students competing in exams like IIT of JEE don't depend on the school course. "Whom they are fooling? Do you think that students who compete seriously in such tough exams depend on class room teaching? They mostly depend on professional tuitions or do self-studies" Said the official. |
