Jammu, Nov 4: Compromising on all its 'policies' after coming to power in J&K, BJP is alleged to have started promoting 'bhai-bhatijawad' in MGNREGA.
According to official sources, Village Level Worker (VLW) Parveen Kumar was promoted vide government order No 507 DRD of June 22, 2016 as in-charge Inspector Panchayat (Grade -II) in own pay and grade (OPG) and posted in Warwan block against an available post.
On July 22, 2016, BDO, Akhnoor, posted him to handle the financial matters of MGNREGA even as there was already an assistant accounts officer in the department. "This raises questions over the appointment of another employee against the same post," sources pointed out.
BJP, which had been criticising other political parties for encouraging politics of relationships, has now taken U-turn, by employing relatives at prime posts.
"Praveen is brother-in-law of a BJP MLA, who is very vocal in castigating politics of relationships," sources said. |
