JAMMU, Nov 4: Former Director Information, presently Advisor Gandhian Global Family J&K/Controller Civil Defence, Narinder Singh has expressed grief and shock over the demise of former Deputy Chief Minister and veteran politician Pt Mangat Ram Sharma
In a condolence message, former director Singh described late leader as humble, social and seasoned politician who was very popular leader of Congress party and also held important portfolios during Congress regimes and even during coalition regime in the state.
Singh further described the departed leader as a great visionary and true statesman and recalled his association with late soul during his tenure of Dy CM. "He was an institution unto himself who worked restlessly for harmonious of Society, he added.
'Pandit Ji'- the popular name of the Pt Mangat Ram Sharma, Mr Singh said, "the late soul was among towering Congress leaders of the state viz. Pt Tarlochan Dutt and Girdhari Lal Dogra.
"The void due to his demise can hardly be filled in the field of politics, Singh stated while praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul and offered condolences to the bereaved family. |
