CM's visit merely a 'mockery' with affected people: Jan | | | Early Times Report
Poonch Nov 4: Taking strong dig upon the scheduled visit of chief minister to twin border districts -Rajouri -Poonch, the Youth National Conference (NC) and Ex MLA Ajaz Jan today termed the visit of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to twin district as a mockery with border firing affected people. NC leader also castigated organisers of the tour of chief minister for mismanagement and alleged that border shelling victims were made to wait for hours at Bhimber Gali (BG) where Chief Minister didn't even bother to visit. In a press statement issued here today, Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan, stated that Chief Minister visited Poonch to meet border shelling victims but she preferred indoor meeting with officers instead of visit the affected areas. While castigating the organisers of the tour, former MLA, Jan said that this tour of Chief Minister was so ill planned that border shelling sufferer's and people from Balakote area were made to wait for hours together at Bhimber Gali (BG) for meeting with Chief Minister but she failed to visit the area. "If there was some security issue than why visit of BG was planned and people were made to wait" Jan questioned. "She hardly met any victim in a stage managed show and preferred only those border firing victims which have been listed by the officers and legislators just to manage the show," Jan alleged. He also regretted that Chief Minister even didn't bother to meet with aggrieved families who lost their kin in tragic bus accident at Poonch today. He also asked state government to bring some realistic approach in their work towards border shelling victims instead of cosmetic steps.Jan also accused RDD Minister Ab Haq Khan who also visited Gali Maidan Sawjiyan to remain glued in his luxurious car and didn't bother to meet the shelling victims whose shops got gutted in shelling on the other day. |
