Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 15: Within days after the Early Times exposed the Ayushman Bharat scheme as a ‘cruel joke’ with the residents of J&K like other schemes, authorities awake from deep slumber and started an investigation in the case highlighted by this newspaper. An officer from the Ayushman Bharat scheme called me on Monday and inquired about the whole episode”, Naresh Kapoor, who was denied admission in Narayana Hospital on this much-touted health card told the Early Times. “I have sent a photocopy of my file to the officer who called me. I am confident that action will be taken against the hospital for not entertaining my Ayushaman Bharat card”, he said, adding, “I narrated the whole episode to the officer and informed him that hospital authorities told me that there was a three-day-waiting for the Ayushman Bharat card”. As reported by the Early Times in its November 13 edition, very much like other schemes which are working only on papers and in government advertisements, the much-touted ‘Ayushman Bharat scheme’ is also proved to be a cruel joke with the residen...
