Finance Department errs in timely allocation of funds
4/19/2015 12:20:30 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 18: Even as politics is being played in the Srinagar streets, the 'good governance' promised by the ruling alliance remains a distant dream. The chaos among the Civil Secretariat employees in Jammu is evident. Insiders maintain that this is for the first time that budget allocation to the departments has not been processed on time. "The process of releasing the funds to the administrative secretaries soon after the budget is passed in the legislature has been the norm in the state. Instead, it took the line the NC and Congress had taken on these issues.
