Agni missile and Mangalyan success amid loose laws
Nikhil Gupta10/17/2014 10:33:18 PM

About 600 years back , people from
Central Asia came running to India from
their not so green land towards green land of India , defeated Afgans and later defeated Rajputs and so started rule in north India . About 250 years back , Britishers came , defeated local powers one by one and set up British rule in India. British captured Shah Zafar , treated him as simple prisoner and pensioned him to Rangoon. Around 1845-49 , British totally defeated Sikhs , crushed their only kingdom and brought whole of Panjab region under their rule . British ruled India either directly through their appointed officials or indirectly through their British Residents who controlled most of the foreign affairs , war and peace decisions etc . British kept large number of little kings and zamindars who were controlled by top British officials. It is well known that India attained freedom only after lots of sacrifices of large number of people of India belonging to all sections of society . The contributions of freedom warriors like SURYA SEN and his company of youngsters of age group 15 to 20 years comprising such great warriors like KSHATRIYA GUPTAS ANANDA GUPTA and DEBA GUPTA can never be forgotten . India should not forget that the Indian independence was achieved after so much bloodshed and sacrifices and it is the duty of us all Indians to safeguard the Indian independence at all costs . The defence preparedness of India needs to be upgraded by procurement of more and more modern weapons . The perfect launch of AGNI V ICBM with over 5000 km range is a big leap forward for Indian defence preparedness. The ballistic missiles provide force multiplication to Indian defence and in case of China , the AGNI V will prove to be a game changer with MAD ( MUTUAL ASSURED DESTRUCTION ) concept fully exposed to any Chinese misadventure. Agni V, India's most powerful long-range ballistic missile, has lived up to the hopes of its creators at the Defence Research & Development Organisation. In its maiden flight on Thursday morning, the missile demonstrated that it could accurately lob a dummy warhead weighing slightly over one tonne to a distance of over 5,000 km. India already has nuclear-capable missiles that can reach all of Pakistan and Agni V is clearly intended to provide a similar deterrent capability with respect to China . AGNI V is the first Indian missile that can potentially be equipped with multiple warheads (known as Multiple Independently Targeted Re-entry Vehicles or MIRV) . This multiple warhead carrying capability is the most dangerous capability that can change the game of warfare . Its not known whether Chinese missiles are equipped with multiple warheads or not . China possesses formidable nuclear-armed missiles and is in the process of replacing its liquid-fuelled ballistic missiles with more modern solid propellant ones. From bases in Qinghai and Yunnan provinces, these missiles can reach all of India. In addition, in 2004, China launched the first of its second-generation Type 094 Jin-class nuclear-powered submarines that will carry JL-2 solid-propellant ballistic missiles . For the development of AGNI V missile three key laboratories forming Defence Research and Development Organisation's missile complex worked in tandem and designed most parts indigenously . These three labs are " The Research Centre Imarat (RCI) " , " Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL) " and the " Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) " . These are the three laboratories which contributed immensely to the success of Agni V catapulting India into an elite club of nations possessing the technology to develop Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). Sh. R.K. GUPTA was the Project Director for Agni-V missile .
The launch mission of AGNI V was so perfect that the missile's re-entry vehicle hit the waters of the Indian Ocean in the targeted area with an accuracy of a few metres and the entire mission was monitored by three ships stationed down range, telemetry and radars along the coast.
The data indicated that the mission objectives were fully met. The fireball created by the explosion of the dummy payload was recorded by cameras onboard the ships . As per the defence experts ,Agni-V is a versatile missile as in terms of deterrence, the missile would be provide sufficient confidence to India in any future warfare . Another success for India is about the mangalyaan mission or mars orbiter mission . India's Mars Orbiter Spacecraft successfully entered into an orbit around planet Mars on September 24, 2014 by firing its 440 Newton Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM) along with eight smaller liquid engines. This Liquid Engines firing operation lasted for 1388.67 seconds which changed the velocity of the spacecraft by 1099 metre/sec. With this operation, the spacecraft entered into an elliptical orbit around Mars . With successful Mars Orbit Insertion operation, ISRO has become the fourth space agency to successfully send a spacecraft to Mars orbit . Only the US, Russia and Europe have previously sent missions to Mars, and India has succeeded on its first attempt - an achievement that eluded even the Americans and the Soviets. I listened the speech of our honourable Prime Minister on the success of the Mangalyan mission . He linked this success with Indian wisdom and clearly mentioned that it was very difficult to reach planet Mars because the exact calculations for the path are difficult and the path to mars is known to only few . Let me state that even the China and Japan could not send their missions to Mars till now . But I appreciate China for calling Indian Mangalyaan success as PRIDE OF ASIA . And I laugh at a shameless neighboring country that does border firings on civilians and exports terrorists to India . That shameless country cannot reach Mars even in next 1000 years because that country's psyche is just hatred for India and nothing else . God can never bless that country that kills innocent civilians . Our honourable Prime Minister has initiated another very good exercise of repealing some old and obnoxious laws of the brirish times . Some of the laws are laughable and others have no place in a modern and democratic India . For example there is Treasure Trove Act of 1878 according to which if anyone unearths treasure worth even as little as 10 rupees in India he cannot keep it because it still belongs to Queen of England . This is bad and this law should be repealed immediately . I will point to another law namely Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000 and J & K Juvenile Justice act 2013 which may be misused by teenage criminals of age group 17 to 18 years . We all know about the infamous Nirbhaya rape case in Delhi where the biggest criminal was a Juvenile and there was an uproar in India for amending the Juvenile act so that the criminals committing heinous crimes like rape or murder do not escape punishment . There is another case in Jammu where two shameless persons namely Gagandeep Singh and Darvinder Pal Singh belonging to sikh community kidnapped a little child and murdered him for ransom . Later these shameless creatures were caught by police and as per newspaper reports they confessed to their crime . Recently I read in newspapers that these two people are released just because they are Juveniles . My question is that by releasing such criminals are we not setting a bad example ? Criminals are just criminals and in my view those criminals who kill innocent people and innocent children should be hanged to death . Of course they will burn in the fire of hell also . Whether we believe it or not the karma theory is very strong and anyone who does crime of killing people , raping women , taking someone else's money and not returning it etc should be sure that he will burn in fire of hell even if he escapes punishment in this mortal world . In this particular case the child was very small and I want to ask whether that murdered child will ever get justice and those who murdered him will get hanged to death ? I also request for amending Juvenile act retrospectively so that those who commit heinous crimes cannot escape punishment . It is also requested that the age certificates of such criminals should be thoroughly checked . In both cases mentioned above the criminals should be given toughest punishments . Our society cannot be a loose society that lets off criminals of any community or religion . In my personal view criminals and terrorists have no caste or religion and thus should be given tough punishments . The content has no bearing on any person or any organization and the author is guided by the motto " THE ROYALE GUPTA WARRIORS NEVER FIGHT FOR THEMSELVES BUT FIGHT FOR A BIGGER CAUSE ". Vande Matram and Jai Hind.
